Controlling devices with natural-language text commands
The user writes a command in plain language such as “turn on the fan if the temperature exceeds 28”, and the system turns it into a rule running on the microcontroller. You can also ask about the room, and it answers with real readings from the installed sensors.
The problem
Home automation doesn't stall because it's technically hard, but because every rule needs programming or a complicated interface. As a result, people install devices and run them by hand, and the automation never actually gets used.
How it works
- WritingThe user writes the rule in natural language.
- ConversionThe rule is converted into a specific condition and output.
- TransportThe condition is loaded onto the controller and runs locally.
- ExecutionThe controller watches its sensor readings and switches the relay when the condition is met.
Project features
- Rules are written in natural language with no programming.
- The rule becomes simple logic running on the controller itself, so it keeps working when the internet is down.
- A natural-language question returns real readings, not generic answers.
- A log records every command executed and when, explaining why a device turned on.
Parts

Prices are estimates and may change. Parts marked “other supplier” are ordered outside our main store.
Expected challenges
These are the main obstacles to expect during the build, laid out clearly so you know them before you start.
- Ambiguous commands can turn into wrong rules, so confirmation is needed before a rule is activated.
- Rules can conflict, for example one says on and another says off.
- Relying on an external service stops the project when the internet is down, so the logic is moved to the board.
- Running real devices from written commands requires strict safety limits.
The consultation gives you a solution for each one.
